The City

The house is a stable construction where live. At first the foundation and the walls seem solid, resistant to passage of time. How many houses do you change in a lifetime? How many memories of housing structures are preserved in our memory? The human mind retains the memory of the even the tiniest bit of the wall belonging to a house. Everywhere you can see houses that have become ruins, you can see the ruble that was once the main walls of a house. Objects that made up the equipment of a private domestic life which now look like fossils, covered with dust and debris. The debris retains the memory of the dwellings.

 La casa, una costruzione fissa dove vivere. Le fondamenta, i muri, sembrano a prima vista solidi ed imperituri al tempo che passa. Ma quante case si cambiano in una vita? Quanti ricordi di strutture abitative si conservano nella memoria?La memoria umana conserva fino al più piccolo centimetro di muro appartenuto ad una casa. Immagini di strutture abitative che sono rovine, macerie che un tempo costituivano i muri portanti di una casa. Gli oggetti che costituivano il corredo della vita domestica e privata ora somigliano a fossili coperti di polvere e calcinacci. Le strutture delle case,detriti depositati a terra. I detriti somigliano alla nostra memoria delle strutture abitative.
